Whats New in Podium Vol 22

Telehealth

Telehealth is now live and can be enabled for any service type where you’d like to offer virtual visits. Telehealth appointments will automatically generate a video call link, and transcriptions of each telehealth call will be created automatically on the appointment sheet.

How Avery handles hybrid services: When hybrid booking is turned on for a service, meaning it can be booked as either telehealth or in person, Avery will ask the client which option they prefer during booking.

Card on File in Wallet

Cards on file can now be seen in the Wallet tab of a patient profile.

Booking Deposit Exceptions

Set up exceptions to your booking deposit policy so members and clients with vouchers are not required to pay a deposit when booking an appointment.

Where to find in Podium: Settings > Appointments > Cancellations & Deposits

Multi-Inventory Service

Link one service to multiple inventory items, so providers can choose the exact product used at the appointment while invoices and vouchers stay tied to one service. For example: If you create a “Tox Treatment” service with Botox, Daxxify, and Jeuveau as linked inventory items, clients can redeem a voucher for Tox Treatment and providers can select which inventory item was used.

Where to find in Podium: Settings > Services > Select inventory to use under pricing (for usage-based pricing only)
